Refund & Return Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Form & Grain. Please review our refund and return policy carefully. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms:

1. Custom Orders

All of our products are handcrafted and made-to-order. As such, we do not offer refunds or returns on custom pieces once production has started.

Please ensure that all dimensions, finishes, and design specifications are correct before confirming your order.

2. Non-Custom or Stock Items

For non-custom or stock items, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

3. Damage During Delivery

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the issue.

We will assess the claim and may offer a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the extent of the damage. Items must be inspected upon delivery and noted before the courier departs, if applicable.

4. Natural Material Variations

Due to the use of solid, natural timber, each item will have unique grain patterns, tones, and potential minor movement (e.g. hairline cracks, slight cupping). These are not considered defects and are not grounds for return.

5. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 7–14 working days.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to our error. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at: hello@formandgrain.co.za.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:
– Check your bank account again
– Contact your credit card company or bank (processing time may vary)
– If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@formandgrain.co.za
