The desktop is made from 25 mm solid spruce, selected for its light, contemporary grain and natural warmth. Beneath the top, a reinforced structure ensures long-term rigidity without adding excessive weight. The entire surface is sealed with a natural matte finish to protect the wood while preserving its raw, organic character.
A handcrafted solid spruce drawer offers convenient concealed storage for stationery and everyday essentials. Each drawer features a custom sheet-metal handle and a smooth, reliable sliding mechanism built in-house — a true expression of Form & Grain craftsmanship.
Under the work surface sits a full-width expanded-metal mesh shelf, adding structural support while serving as an additional open storage area for books, files, or accessories. This mesh detailing is a signature industrial touch that complements the steel frame.
The desk is built on a robust 50 × 50 mm steel leg frame, coated in Rustrite, a rust-curing, highly durable finish. The feet include 50 mm adjustable levellers, allowing you to set the perfect height and compensate for uneven floors — making the desk ergonomically adaptable.
