The Mod-G Comforter Dining Chair is designed for those who believe that a dining chair should be as comfortable as the moments shared around it. Wider, deeper, and more considered than a conventional dining chair, it blurs the line between formal dining and relaxed lounging inviting you to sit longer, lean back, and truly settle in.

Generously proportioned with a 600mm wide seat and 550mm depth, the Comforter offers a supportive, upholstered seat and backrest paired with integrated armrests, creating a composed yet relaxed sitting posture. It feels substantial without being heavy, refined without being rigid  equally at home around a dining table or standing alone as an elegant occasional chair.

A powder-coated steel frame, finished in our signature Gripseal matte coating with Ruststrike rust-inhibiting protection, provides strength, durability, and longevity. This is the same trusted finish used across the Mod-G collection  unchanged, proven, and built to last.

Solid timber armrests and detailing introduce warmth and tactility, softening the architectural lines of the steel frame and reinforcing the balance between structure and comfort.

Upholstered for Everyday Living.

Each Mod-G Comforter Chair is fully upholstered using Hertex Balkan fabric from the Montenegro collection a high-performance, poly-woven upholstery with a refined stonewashed cotton appearance. Selected for both durability and touch, Balkan is designed to handle everyday living while maintaining its tailored look.

With over 100,000 Martindale rubs, it offers exceptional wear resistance, making it ideal for dining environments where comfort and longevity matter equally.

Each chair requires approximately 1.5 metres of fabric, carefully tailored to the seat and backrest for a clean, considered finish.

Standard seating is supported by precision-formed 30 × 3 mm steel slats, while a sprung seat upgrade with a webbed timber sub-frame is available for those seeking an elevated comfort experience.
